We would love to supply affordable ringing pliers that work !
We've tried. We've REALLY tried. We've spoken to several manufacturers, both in the UK and elsewhere and we've even had a batch produced. But in the end the various alternatives were either insanely expensive or badly made.
The best we could offer are the same pliers from the same manufacturer and with the same flaws as another supplier, so for the time being we do not stock ringing pliers.

Sometimes ringing pliers from various suppliers are supplied with one or more defects which effect their use. While they are basically fit for purpose, they could benefit from a few tweaks to make them perfect. We can offer a reconditioning service for your existing small pliers, to make them much smoother and easier to use.
Send us your dodgy pliers together with four rings for each size you are concerned about and we will send them back working correctly.
Note: We can do this with around 90% of the pliers sent us, leaving just a few that are beyond help. We regret we do not carry out improvements to large ringing pliers.
